Coronation
One of the highlight events for the Hopkins Raspberry Festival
is the Coronation of th e
New Princesses and Queen. Coordinator
Melissa Specken did an amazing job on the
70th Anniversary event. We look forward
to seeing what she has in store for this year.
Held on Thursday (July 15th )
of Festival week, this coronation follows the crowning of the
new reigning Senior
and Junior Royalty. It
is the first formal introduction of the Royalty that will
represent Hopkins for the next 12 months.
The coronation is followed by the traditional Grand Ball.
Entertainment last year will be by reknown local band Last Call
Following
the coronation will be the presentation of the new royalty as
they descend the beautiful staircase at the Hopkins Center for
the Arts.

King and Queen Roman and Callan
Invite
you to join them Wednesday, July 14th at 6:30 - at the Hopkins
Center for the Arts. A delightfully crafted set makes a
fun backdrop for the incredibly excited and talented
children. While only four could be crowned, 2004 Coordinator
Brenda Johnston made sure that each child had a memorable
evening. |
