John
Hamer - 2001 - 2002 Senior Ambassador
There could be no doubt how much John loved representing the
City of Hopkins and his role as Sr. King. He proudly
told us so in the same strong voice he used to call
Bingo! John worked at adult Sr. care and sang in their
choir right until his health no longer permitted. They
miss him and so does his Royal Family

Bob
Ringold - 1995-1996 Senior King
It
is hard to imagine attending a Festival event and not being
warmed by Bob's smile and handshake. Bob and his wife
Nancy enriched their royal family and continued to help
strengthen the Sr Ambassador Program, and Festival as a
whole. Bob lived life and made us all better for knowing
him and seeing his example.

Kristi Klug
1996
- 1997 Hopkins Raspberry Festival Queen
Thank you Queen Kristi
for showing us your courage. Kristi showed her
grace, diginity, courage and beauty all during
her long battle with the cancer that took her
from us. She lived her too short time with
enthusiam and a radiant smile. She loved her
family, friends and her community of Hopkins. She
truly represented all that the Festival is.

Warren
Berquam - 1998-1999 Senior King
Warren
was only with his Royal Family for a short time,
but was much missed by them. His community
involvements and enthusiasms were numerous. He
will especially be remembered for being...the
first ever Festival square dance caller!

|
Gil Kehr
- 1997-1998 Senior KingGil's being a wonderful
father to his own family made it a natural for
him to bring his Royal Family into his warm
circle of love. He was masterful at
"whipping up" parade crowds enthusiasm
from his park bench ride on the float.
